Austin Segway Bat Tour

This tour is as Austin as it gets! This Segway tour is only available
from March- November because that is when the Mexican Free-Tailed bats
are in Austin. You will witness over 2 million Mexican Free-Tailed
bats depart from under the Congress Bridge at dusk on their way to
look for food. This tour is a full Austin Sightseeing Segway tour with
an extra stop to view the bat departure at dusk. .

This unique choice is a combination of our Sightseeing City Segway
Tour and a delicious meal at one of downtown Austin’s local unique
restaurants. Your choices for dining are: The Pita Pit, Rio Grande
Mexican Restaurant,
Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill Restaurant or Cantina Laredo

Horseshoe Bay Resort Tours
Our Horseshoe Bay Segway Tour is available to overnight guests and
members. Gliding Revolution Inc. provides a relaxing scenic tour of
the beautiful Texas hill country and Lake LBJ at the Horseshoe Bay
resort throughout the year. This tour is a relaxing trip through
Horseshoe Bay and some of the residential areas with panoramic views
of lake LBJ.
Weekdays- Monday-Thursday $75 per person
Weekends- Friday-Sunday $85 per person
We also offer an Obstacle Course Relay at
Horseshoe Bay Resort
$55 per person- without a tour (45 minute exercise)
How should I prepare?
Wear comfortable shoes
(no flip flops or high heels, please), sunscreen, and sunglasses. We
highly recommend bringing something to drink with you to put in your
Segway bag on the tour. We also have refreshments available for
purchase in our Austin based Segway store.
Qualifications
Yes, we choose to carry
insurance and the policy states
that all riders must be at least 12 years old for the Segways,
although there is no age limit for the bicycle rentals! The Segways
have a weight requirement of between 50-360 pounds. Our company became
Segway dealer authorized and certified with completion of all Segway
training courses in 2004- Bedford, NH Segway Inc.
